Hey everyone! Welcome to this site (and blog)! I have multiple names that people use to refer to me, but for now I’ll stick with just Newt!
Quick rundown of who I am: I’m a London based Digital Artist whose focus crosses between 2D and 3D work as well as a musician with performance knowledge and experience with percussion, voice and guitar.
I have a love for crochet, videogames, TTRPGs and making up silly stories in my head to craft into bigger projects (that I haven’t posted anywhere, gotta love that anxiety) as well as acting for voice and otherwise – something I’d love to do more of (especially voice acting).
In terms of what you’ll be seeing on this blog (as well as the rest of the site to be completely fair), I’ll be using this place as a portfolio for my work primarily – focus on illustration, character design, 3D modelling, 3D rigging and animation with bits of VTuber-based work here and there. I’ll also be posting stuff related to tabletop, my music work, video games I’m currently playing non-stop and bits and pieces to do with my crochet projects (once figure out where to do photographs in my itty bitty London flat)!
I want to entertain folks but also help where possible – which is why I’ll also be trying my hand at tutorials following my own personal workflow for 3D modelling through to animation. This also includes timelapses of my illustrative and 2D Vtuber rigging work.
